March 15th, 2016 10:17 PM #1722Hi guys. Mawawalan ba ng warranty if sa labas ako magpapa-install ng rear cam? Toyota casa price of rear cam is 9,500. Pero sa Blade around 2,500 lang. Worried lang ako baka ma-void ang toyota warranty pag sa Blade ako magpapa-install. Thank you.

Mawawala yung warranty sa electrical, AFAIK. But they'll also have to prove first that whatever you added was the one that caused the problem, if ever you want to claim for warranty on an electrical part, before sya ma-void completely.
Kung para sa ganyang add-on naman, I say void itIMHO, I'd rather loose the warranty than not have the add-on I need in order to be a safe driver. Same goes sa car alarm. If the warranty gets voided, the hell with it, basta ako may alarm. Hahahaha honest opinion lang po

March 16th, 2016 04:33 PM #1729may nasiraan na po ba dito nung mismong touchscreen system? my brother was casually driving our wigo when suddenly bigla nalang daw namatay and from there on hindi na nag on! Iilaw naman ung mga white light indicators pagkatapos namin ipindot ung PWR button pero after a few seconds magiging red ulit indicating na naka off na. Ni wala ngang nagpapakita sa screen all black lang. Tsk

That headunit has a reset button sa lower right bottom part. It's small, really really small. Press that button for a minimum of five seconds using the pointed tip of a pen or a toothpick, then try turning it on again. If that doesn't work, it also came with a remote; try turning it off and on using that. And if that doesn't work, try taking the negative terminal of the battery off, then put it back (this does a reset too, I think) then try turning the headunit on again. If that still doesn't work, it's time you bring it back to the casa. Under warranty pa yan.
Actually, it might be easier to just have them fix it. :D hehehe
