February 21st, 2014 06:02 PM #154i got lucky. i got to test-drive one. my comments:
it's spacious. as many above have said, it does have considerable passenger space, more than the older vios, with easy ingress and egress.
i drove it on a flat road. the engine seems "adequate", with no vibrations. and it did accelerate noticeably. i am confident we can go up the spiral ramp in molopisya. visibility is unermarkable.
my big feet kept getting in trouble over the bunched-up clutch, brake, and go-fast pedals. i kept thinking, "siguro mas ok sana yung automatic".
the rear baggage space was adequate. it can fit a medium maleta standing up, or a couple of 5 gallon drinking water jugs.
creature comforts were basic. VERY basic.
but hey! at that price...
we'll each just have to test drive one and decide for ourselves..

Masmaluwag pa sa Vios 1st gen ko.. Buti ka pa you were able to test drive the car.. Doc, just curious, could you elaborate dun sa part ng visibility and pedals? I forgot to check those things out nung nakita ko yung unit.. Inuna ko kasi yung space.. and walang shift knob yung unit so I did not bother to check the pedals and view when seated in front.. TIA..Last edited by Dusty; February 22nd, 2014 at 07:16 PM. Reason: spelling
