January 29th, 2013 08:40 PM #1503I say go with AT for offroad. It will make it easier because you don't have to worry about the clutch, and it will allow you to focus more on the right line to take on the coarse. MT is better if you are the type who wants complete control of the vehicle while offroad. Some say that AT don't offer much engine braking downhill but I tried it in my vitara and it seems it is sufficient when you put it in L. I barely had to step on the brake going down a steep hill.
Best for offroad ? Manual or automatic ?

January 31st, 2013 06:24 PM #1504Just bumped my Jimny this morning. Arrggghhh.... I hit a delivery van and will probably need a new front bumper. More than the cost, I'm afraid baka walang available replacement bumper sa casa.

they are now selling the updated jimny. Saw one sa showrooms.
sidenote: grabe sa lakas ng gas nitong amin (AT), minsan umaabot pa ako ng 5kmL. But its so fun to drive lagi ko tuloy ginagamit. :D
