I worn out a set of kevlar brake pads in 8000km. Metallic pads in 7000km.
Currently I'm doing an average of 8,000 to 10,000km per set of metallic brake pads.

i think u can visually check the pads just by looking at rims dba, ul see it if u know wat to look 4.

not really. I have to take out the pads to check how thick the pads are.

January 7th, 2004 09:12 AM #35i was all ready to replace the front pads on my car (97 VTi) which has 65Tkm on the clock. but when i checked the original pads that came with the car when it was bought 6 years ago, the pads were still thick! at least 4mm thick pa!
it really depends on your driving style and habit. style ko kasi, takbong-mayaman e

when having pm done to your car, it can't hurt to have the mechanic check and clean your brakes

1 year for my front and 2 years for my rear pads.
Automatic kotse ko at mabigat... ehehhe
