I have finally been able to drive my FXT to the province. So far I'm happy with the performance. Recorded a gas mileage of 10km/liter.

Its combined city/highway driving. In addition, i still find it economical especially when my average speed in NLEX is between 100-120kph.

Moreover, comparing it with my wife's car (Hyundai Tucson), its gas mileage is better considering the Tucson's gas consumption is about 8-9km/liter.

You have a 2.0, right? Parang hindi ko kakayanin yang FC na yan eh.

My ride is a 2.5 XT. Filled up my gas tank up to the neck. Fuel is V-Power. Drove the car for about 320+km during the weekend. I think 75% of the distance that I drove was in highway, the rest was in Manila and traffic in Manila was light to moderate. I don't do sudden acceleration and I kept my rev below 3,000 rpm as i was following the manual recommendation not to exceed 4,000 rpm during the break-in period. Kept the rev at around 2,500 rpm most of the time.

I too was quite surprised by the gas mileage that I was able to achieve. Btw, i refilled my tank up to the rim.

Ano ba yung route mo at anong oras? Puwede mo kami i-update kung ma-maintain mo siya?

Well, if you don't have the discipline to be light on the pedal, you could easily hit more than 3k.

As for the trip last weekend, i went to pampanga. Bale i took two roundtrips going back and forth between pampanga and manila. The first round trip, saturday namin ginawa at around 10 while yung second was sunday morning.

Will try again this weekend if i could replicate it.

I'm also nowhere near 10km/l but I did manage to improve my FC from the low 5s to 6 - 6.5. What I did is try to keep our revs below 2.6k which is about where i think the turbo kicks in (please correct me if i'm wrong).
