I've just passed 10K kms so i guess my improved FC is due to my engine being settled in by now.

I'm also nowhere near 10km/l but I did manage to improve my FC from the low 5s to 6 - 6.5. What I did is try to keep our revs below 2.6k which is about where i think the turbo kicks in (please correct me if i'm wrong).

Hmm. Your FC seems low naman, unless mostly city driving ka. Manila ka right?My turbo is almost a virgin. Pag akyat ko pa lang yata ng Baguio lumagpas ng 3600 rpm eh. I avoid using spoortshift and pressing the power button kasi. My FC is kulang-kulang 8. Update mo kami kung maulit mo results mo ha ET1.

I think you have to use the turbo to get the best economy. Basically get it up to the point where the turbo is working, but not too high that the ECU riches out the mix for safety. AFAIK Subaru 06-07 2.5lis run pretty lean up to about 4000rpm.

i usually pass by motor image in edsa every morning. i dunno if i saw it right... but i think i saw a gray forester STi inside the showroom. it's the first time i've seen one. i've seen STi imprezas but not with the forester here. does anyone here know how much they're selling the STi version of the forester?
i've seen it run in youtube. galing for a wagon. just a few seconds off sa STi impreza.

AFAIK, there is no LHD Forester STi and they only come in RHD versions only Japan has 'em and some parts of Europe. So, that's probably a 'kitted' Forester or maybe a Forester Sports/Cross Sports.

It's just a dressed-up XT. If I remember correctly, it will cost you around 260K to make your Forester look like an STi.

Puwede ka na bumili ng impreza sti nun talaga kung ganun, except you'll have less cargo space.
