I own a diesel and I asked around for air filter, oil filter, aircon filter and front brake pads. Hybrid doesnt have any stock right now so i had no choice but to go to Wheels. And theyre giving them at P1,300, P700, P1,600, and P5,900 respectively with a discount of 10% if purchased in cash.

Setting up the club would allow us to make orders in bulk and discuss issues that would save us a lot of money and keep our vehicle in good shape. I hope we can all have an eyeball soon so we can finally meet each other. Perhaps a Saturday morning powow at the Fort, Ortigas or MOA area
Perhaps, we should start by collecting info from each of the actyon owners from this forum, then we set the meeting to set the club. Actyon owners willing to make an Actyon Club Philippines, pls signify your interest by replying in this post. Thank you.

Was able to get a mechanic who does home service for the car. Certified Ssangyong Mechanic. Able to source genuine parts at lower prices. I changed my glow plug recently at the casa and they charged me 1500/plug plus a plug-in on the diagnoistic for 890. P2390 total bill. Changed only one plug because thats what the computer said. In 3 weeks, glow plug warning light on again. Found this mechanic and told me that they should have changed all the plugs. So I had to change the three old plugs for P3200, then he charged 800 for the home service. It would be nice to have a meeting and share our experiences with our car. The awareness we will get from each others story will help us in the long run.

    Attention Proud Actyon Owners:
Just to share with you also my very recent experience in the maintenance of my Actyon.
I decided to bring my Actyon to an automotive shop since the smoke emission appears to be worsening (white smoke & occasional black sooth). The verdict from that shop is to replace 2 out of 4 injectors. Some leak was oberved and I was told that fuel is no longer being transmitted to the engine for proper combustion. With the sky high cost of each injector (price ranging 35 K to 50K pesos each;) which I cannot afford, I tried to research for alternative or re-evaluation by a diesel expert. I have to say that I am very lucky to find Berrima in Mnadaluyong. At first, I am having thoughts and hesitation for having my car serviced by this company as I have the impression that it would be very expensive but I was proven wrong. The service advisor explained to me that at Berrima, there is no guess work that would later result to back jobs and will in turn be more expensive. The evaluation took longer time as the evaluation is a step by step careful process and it was personally supervised by an Australian Diesel Expert. 4 out of 4 injectors were found to be still functional but with worn-out gaskets/washers were replaced. However, one of the injector with an ID that doesn't match with ECU needed to be replaced since performance may not be optimized. The overall cost of detailed diagnosis and repair did not even reached half of the cost of replacing the injectors as earlier recommended by a separate shop. Money spent was worth it. I am truly satisfied and happy with the result. I am now thinking of trying their HP boost product, the DPChip … still a thought in process as it is also far from cheap :-)

Again, calling the ACTYON owners interested in meeting up for the purpose of sharing our maintenance experience. Can we all meet at least an hour this sunday morning (i.e. 9AM -sharp) maybe at Shell C5 gas station (Beside Tiendesitas). Kindly confirm so that I do not have to go there alone.
