A dream matchup would be Randy Couture vs. Royce Gracie, the
legendary Brazilian jiu-jitsu champ (or have they met before already...
not sure.)
Ang alam ko retired na yata si Royce, but if both were in their prime
and pitted against each other, sino kaya mananalo?
Randy is an all-around "streetsmart" fighter, while Gracie is expert
in submission skills. Royce is smaller weighing less than 200 lbs.
I remember Royce fought Akebono, the sumo yokozuna champ
who weighs around 480 lbs. and 6'7" tall in a recent exhibition
match sa Japan yata yun. And Royce won with a submission
armlock move, if I'm not mistaken!
Randy Couture vs. Royce Gracie...man, that would be a matchup
if only in my dreams, hehehe.

rumored possible opponents for couture include antonio rodrigo nogueira, another top brazilian fighter and mirko cro cop. anyway mma fans definitely want a fight with fedor and couture likes the idea.

Too bad
. Pacquiao has improved a lot since their first fight. i was really waiting to see if marquez still got it. This was sort of a tune up against a solid fighter but a class B at best. Some say that the real reason for cancellation was low PPV sales while others say JMM's did not want to risk losing a potential by big money fight with Manny. Oh well, on to pacquiao vs barrera then...
My pick for tomorrow's UFC. Henderson & Cro Cop

agree ako sayo bro. of all possible opponents, JMM has the best chance of beating manny. as we saw in their 2004 fight, JMM's got superior technical skills and experience and he used both to salvage a draw after being down 3 times in the first round. Problema mahirap kalaban si father time. In his last fight against Barera, tingin ko medyo bumagal na si Marquez but the skills are still there as he won convincingly via unanimous decision. At 32, baka hindi na maging competitive pag pinatagal pa nila ang laban nya ka manny. If this materializes next year, magandang laban to...panalo na naman mga boxing fans
