BPI ‘rebalances’ workforce | Inquirer Business

They will be offering some employee early retirement, and will be moving their probationary to a sister company.

Will BDO next in queue? They have been spending heavily on capex opening branches almost in every corner and putting up atms everywhere. Without enough clients, what will happen to those idle resources?

Either that or they may reduce working hours of people if they are willing just to stay afloat.

Better have a reduced salary than try to find a new job in the current situation imho.

We are just beginning to feel the economic impact talaga. This will be a bad xmas unless a proven vaccine is found soon.

I know most people here won't commit the same mistake. Pero be aware na rin. Scammers are getting smarter.

I also read some scams that someone will call you pretending to be from BPI, asking you some legitimate offer like if you want a supplementary card for your spouse. Then the "bank rep" would ask you verification questions like mothers maiden name and bday. And then OTP. Also this highlights the importance of putting a pin on your sim card especially if you are receiving otp on it. I know too many people who doesn't have pin for sim card, phone lang.

So my question is do you give out "verification questions" to people who calls you are just to people you call, like bank CSR? Obviously you won't give out your OTP right?

Wala pa kong tinatanggap na offers from banks.

May isa pa kong nakita na nag-aalok daw to "upgrade" your sim cards. Papalitan nila ang sim mo at kukunin daw nila yung luma mo.

Yeah, same quesion. OTP is only asked if you made a transaction and it is never asked. Inputted yan sa current transaction mo. Yun pa lang questionable na.
