Let MMPI prove that it’s not their fault by making an investigation on the control & safety system of those MSs that have been buy-backed in the presence of the third-party investigators and some certifying bodies. Check the event log of the following input signals:
1.Accelerator pedal (not the 0-5V signal or whatsoever as this can also be triggered by any external factors).
2.The shifter P, N, D, R.
3.Brake pedal.
4.Other signals relevant to the acceleration of MS.
Criteria for checking the event log:
1.If the accelerator pedal was ON at the same exact time the car moved in the CCTV footage, then, driver is at fault.
2.If the brake pedal was ON at the same exact time the car moved in the CCTV footage, then, the MS is faulty.
3.If the shifter moved to D or R while the accelerator pedal was ON at the same exact time the car moved in the CCTV footage, then the driver is at fault.
4.If the shifter remained in P at the same exact time the car moved in the CCTV footage, then the MS is faulty.
Question: What if there’s no event log for the above indicators? Can the accusers sue MMPI?
The problem is, the media has sensationalized the issue and many other MS users are now afraid because of this.
I’m not against or pro MS. All of us want to know the TRUTH.
