    *flyblown0 I would avoid the V6 Elgrand in the Philippines, the lack of parts for the engine will kill you. It would be the only vehicle with that engine.

    thanks for the info that saved me,im taking your advise , so what of port Irene any info on buying there an elgrand highway 1999 diesel 4x4 any contacts or info on dealers in the area websites I've been scanning the web lots of talk but no contacts or actual guides on port Irene phone numbers or dealer names any info apreciated on buying an elgrand

    Thank God! my blower fan is fix na! Btw to dvldoc I could not hear anymore the distinct whistle from the turbo,but still the power is there at 2000rpm,is it because i covered the slit with a silicone tape, is this ok? no need to be concern?

    That slit in the in intake hose is a common problem, in fact almost ever Elgrand will have that problem. I used silicone tape as well which is self sealing with heat so it is a permanent fix.

    It's a part every new Elgrand owner should check in fact just best to silicone tape it as soon as you get the vehicle.
