Mga sirs! Another question about polyurethane finish on wood (parquet) flooring...

In actual practice, what is the minimum recommended curing time for each topcoat of polyurethane (Hudson brand)? Sa website kasi ng Boysen, it says, "OVERCOATING INTERVAL: Recoat after 6 hours". It also says, "Allow 7 days to fully cure before allowing heavy duty use and 3 days for foot traffic abrasion." (http://www.boysen.com.ph/products.do?item_id=957).

Kasi po yung staircase namin (GF to 2F & 2F to attic, incl. mezz. landing & 2F Hallway), the contractor says na kaya daw matapos ito within the day (2 topcoats; sanding sealer was already applied today) and puede na daw itong magamit (meaning puede nang tapakan) at the end of the day. Refinishing lang po kasi ito and we have not vacated the premises while this project is ongoing. Yung mga kwarto naman ay overnight curing ang nangyari so no problem there I guess.

To clarify, wood slabs po ang staircase from GF to 2F except for the mezz. landing which is TNG (about 2 sqm ito). The 2F Hallway (about 4 sqm. area) is wood parquet and the staircase from 2F to attic is TNG. This whole area will be applied with Hudson Polyurethane Floor Varnish Topcoat tomorrow and I need your opinions ASAP sana...

Ok naman ang Pergo, pero di ko lang alam ano ang long-term effect pag nabasa. Basically super compressed na MDF kasi yun. Ang ordinary MDF kasi pag nabasa naglalagas.

Ang narra naman, pag halimbawa nasira na ang finish pwede mo i-buff ulit tapos lagyan ng polyurethane para magmukhang bago.

If you can get Narra or Kamagong Planks (super rare), mas ok yun than wood parquet. Problema lang sa Kamagong super tigas ang hirap butasin nun ng pako so drill lahat. Yung trellis na ginawa namin for the then DECS secretary, ok pa rin even after 10years kahit exposed sa elements (rain & sun).

If you wanna get practical, Granite tiles (mga ~1m x 1m / 0.80m x 0.80m ). Matigas, madali linisin. Mahal lang sa una pero worth the price.

It doesn't look as nice as properly finished wood planks though pero depende yan sa taste mo.

Saan ba mura magpagawa ng matibay na kitchen cabinet? nagpa quote ako sa recommend ng interior designer, almost P1.8 million for a 20sq meter kitchen wala pa mga ref, stove etc...
