china will only attempt an invasion if their military is assured of victory..if the taiwanese effectively thwart an amphibious assault with anti-ship, anti-aircraft missiles and torpedoes then china will lose face before the whole wide world

those thousand chinese tanks and a million boots will only look intimidating if they get to land in taiwanese soil. thats something the chinese failed to do since 1949
