I was a yuppie whizkid before, at age 27 i'm worth 5M cash and some 4M assets. I lost all of that bec. I thought it will be forever. the quest for greed and for more even became greater only to find out na lalo pa ako nawawalan. yan din dahilan kumbakit kung san san ako napunta at nanumbalik ako sa Diyos, and my Europe tour became very emotional bec. every Church I went too, I prayed and asked God to give me signs, to get out of this money drain.

yan din dahilan kumbakit ako pumayat ng husto and now I can live at a measily P25/meal homemade hotdog sandwich meal and now, sobrang ready / excited ako to even buy a lowly M/T Accent brand new. truly I was humbled by God and nature. and I learned more things about life ngaun than when I lived my life for money and wealth.

dami ko mayaman kaibigan candidate dyan ngaun, and on maintenance na sila, anti-cholesterol/fat drugs. eh kasi ayaw tumigil eh. ilan beses ko na sinabi stop living an accumulating life: increasing body weight / fats, fusion foods, expensive houses, cars, apparels etc. if Winning is everything, then Losing is nothing. if you live your life with nothing to lose, you'll be happier

mixed feelings ako dyan sa pagbagsak ng langis kasi hindi dapat talaga bumaba pa ang langis ang dapat tumaas pa kahit na unti-unti ng nalalaman ng tao na ang langis ay everywhere. it's in the South China Sea, it's in the Philippine Sea, it's in the Pacific, it's in Canada, it's in South America, it's in Russia, it's in Alaska and both North and South Pole.
market players see oil as a financial asset like stocks and bonds

oil is a risk asset like stocks

price swings depend on the mood of the market

when the market is bullish oil is bid up

when the market is bearish, oil is sold off

    regardless of supply & demand

refiners in the east coast also have no access to the oil so refineries are being shut down

oil has to be bled from Cushing to solve WTI price suppression

reduce the supply at Cushing and WTI will rise

they're already starting to bleed oil from Cushing with pipeline flow reversal (Seaway pipeline) but it still isnt enough. they need more pipelines

    NEW YORK, June 5 | Tue Jun 5, 2012 4:52pm EDT

Crude stocks at Cushing, Oklahoma, the delivery point for West Texas Intermediate crude, rose by 929,000 barrels, despite expectations that the mid-May start-up of the newly reversed Seaway pipeline may help drain the storage hub of excess oil.

WTI used to be THE global oil price benchmark

WTI and Brent had a tight relationship for many many years

when did WTI lose its global benchmark status?

WTI now only reflects the price of oil INSIDE the US

it doesnt flood the international market with oil (which would drive down global oil price)

if that oil could get out of the US the gap between Brent and WTI will narrow

Brent will fall and WTI will rise and maybe go back to their old tight relationship
