i think GMA did a good thing in saving the government from being bankrupt. (debt to gdp ratio before was 90%, now it is around 48%). noynoy's administration is more oriented on social reforms (perception of less corruption, which is really important right now). if he can improve tax collection and solve the looming power crisis, then i take back all the things that i've said before. hehe
The approach of Nonoy's admin,- is MBA-style... Proving that if you can arrest corruption,- then you have a balanced budget; Coupled with more effective tax collection,- then you have budget surplus...

Itinuturo iyan ng mga Professors ng ADMU MBA....

    Theory?- Proven!

Wala na yung Shakeys sa Rockwell that time. Good Earth Roasts yung tambayan ng mga students after class. :D

Don't even get me started on my MBA crush... My friends still banter me to this very day when we see each other.

BTT: I always called the old Toyota Crown, the "Martial Law Mobile". Our neighbor before who was on the Marcos admin had three of those (late 70s model).

Aba! When was this? Way back when Good Earth was near the playground and tennis courts? Tambayan din namin yan dati every Friday night, halos lahat na tiga Bacolod nandoon. Mga 2006 ata yun IIRC. You must know Paolo, the owner, who is from Negros too.

I have not met the owner. I started my MBA in 2006 but usually Thursdays ako nandun; by that time Good Earth moved to the block beside Ateneo Rockwell and Powerplant mall already (used to be an open carpark if i recall correctly). I never took any Friday or Saturday classes (and always I came in late ... because of overtime work).

Oh, mas maraming chicks sa Law School. They could play "martial law" with me anytime

Re. Marcos and his cronies, i always wanted to check out their sequestered/abandoned mansions. So far I only got to see the one in Malacanang of the North (Paoay), Canlubang and Palace in the Sky (before it was turned into a park). The crony mansions in Baguio were all padlocked while the one in Bataan is already a private beach i think (although the house has been torn down already).

Marcos; His reign vs. Noynoy's?
