Came across this sa facebook.. Battery-operated daw, selling it for 35k. Is it a good buy?

I don't have any idea how to maintain it... do I need to register it sa LTO? Pwede ba ito sa Nat'l highway? I read few pages back and noted the problems with the use of battery (lifespan, charging stations, etc)

Basically, I intend to use it as school service for about 2kms from home pero dadaan ng national road. Anu advise nyo mga gurus?

what battery did they use?... standard car battery or deep cycle battery? If they used standard car batteries, the battery life will be very short and will cost you more than the cost of fuel to replace.

    35k?

A single deep cycle cell costs 20k. That'll get you maybe four or five kilometers of range.

Also, best find out what motor they put in there. At that price, it's probably a small one, which means you're not getting on the highway at all, or going much faster than a golf cart.

Whether it's worth it depends on the condition, how powerful it is, how many batteries are in it, and how much life they have left in them.

If the motor is good and the batteries are okay, you could do worse. But it will never be legal for road use. Pang subdivision lang.

Much better than the sardine can of the original ejeep that was actually a golf cart underneath.

A more real human sized interior for passengers than the assumed dwarfs for the original e-jeepney
