It seems there's an alternate route for the air to leak out. Could it be it's leaking between the layers?

Possibly. Anong part ng gulong yung butas? San mo pinagawa? Kung sidewall, I would suggest to replace the tire, but that's just me.

saksak bunot-cold patch- no hot patch for me, expect if the first two options is not available. IMO hot patches deforms the steel belts of your tires.

Always cold patch and never hot patch.

By the way, please use the Search function as this has been discussed before.

nabasa ko na itong thread na ito before making a new thread. made a new thread because im not entirely sure what "tusok" means. and alam ko lang is either hot patch or cold patch... so decided to make a new one... title kasi ng previous thread was tusok or cold patch.

cold patch all the way. if you have a SUV or have them 4WD tires its ok to use the tusok system. i mean the tires are strong enough to the seal that goes with the tusok system. if u only have 4 ply or six ply tires i dnt think its a good idea to use the tusok system, as for the hot patch system, never use it. unless ur tires are really old. and you want to replace them in less than 3 months.i wasted 4 tires a while back because i didnt know about the cold patch system.if you have seen what the hot patch does to the rubber tubes in non tubeless tires then expect to see your tires deformed too.
