September 25th, 2022 05:16 PM #1241mga 2000KMs na since i blocked the EGR. hinintay ko lang matapos warranty.
2 blocking plates ito, tanggal yung tube. medyo madami na soot yung tube. tanggallin lang hose going to the air intake and accessible na yung EGR ports.
no check engine light so far. more responsive on low end, and mas 'usable' na sa city and mountain climbs. nahahabaan kasi ako sa gearing nung 7AT.
another reason of blocking EGR is for cleaner oil - lahat ng blocked vehicles namin medyo golden pa oil sa dipstick, compared sa open pa EGR at 5000KMs na sobrang itim na.
nagtatanim na lang puno to compensate

November 23rd, 2023 09:40 AM #1244Sorry ngayon ko lang nakita, walang CEL with the EGR blanking. Mas may 'oomph' on lower RPMs and at about 1.8K kaya na niya mag upshift.
-----
Meron akong P0380 code pero walang CEL. Glow Plug/Heater Circuit A.
Accessible yung glow plug when you remove the top engine cover pero masikip.
Gusto ko sana i test yung resistance para malaman kung failed glow plug nga ba, or relay/timer, or etc.
Nakita ko yung glow plug relay just behind the left headlight (facing the NP300, katabi ng air box). Nag continuity test ako sa 2 connectors and OK.
I only have a cheapo XL830L now and walang mahiraman na ibang tester.
Tumawag ako sa mga ilang auto supply and yung OEM glow plug is around 3K+

November 23rd, 2023 01:03 PM #1245Analog multimeter gamitin mo para real time.

Same result walang resistance.
Walang continuity to ground?
Nissan calls this part Timer Assy, Glow. Not sure kung may iba pang glow plug relay, wala na ako makitang related sa parts catalog and sa engine fuse box.
I disconnected it from the connector below and ok naman from cold start.
This attaches to the thing above. From the pins papuntang glow plug connector, meron continuity and resistance.
Not sure kung user error

November 27th, 2023 10:14 AM #1248googling,
"the normal resistance should be no more than 6 ohms.", whether analog or digital yung tester.
are all your glow plugs dead?
yike$!
and yes,
i wouldn't remove 'em, just so's i can check 'em, for the same reason as given above.

i want to be certain kasi and na exhaust na all possible troubleshooting steps para di sayang pera.
umakyat ako recently to a mountain town and it knocked on startupnawala naman when it warmed up. i guess it will behave like this everytime it is cold until i fix it.
blocking the EGR resulted in earlier shifting for the vehicles that i've done it.
not sure kung tama understanding ko, instead of redirecting a portion of the exhaust gases back to the intake manifold, when you block the EGR diretso kaagad sa turbo so the turbo spools quicker.
around 1800rpm nagsshift na yung 7AT, while before you need to push it around 2000rpm pa. and the intake will be a lot more cleaner when you block the EGR. cons lang is higher NOx emissions pero LTO doesn't test for it.
magkano and saan kayo nakakuha nung newer OEM coil spring? pag nagkakarga ako ng lupa halos sumasayad na pero still within the loading spec pa din naman.
