October 6th, 2010 06:06 AM #252Mine got fixed too. Resistor block na connected dun sa panel and blower fan was replaced. 3.2K lahat. Galing din ng shop na napuntahan ko kasi just by asking me the symptoms and checking the model of my car, he was able to identify the problem. I was skeptic nung una but i let him change first the resistor block and see if it works. Hindi gumana. When he replaced the fan, gumana na. He even asked me to get the replaced parts since it won't be of any use anyway sabi niya and dagdag lang daw kalat dun sa shop nila. Less than an hour and its good as new.

* eyshmechanic:
im not really a fan of automatic power antennas, usually mapapalitan mo man after some time magloloko na uli (moving parts are really prone to early wear and tear)...even dun sa civic ko ganyan din...much worse kapag nagpark ka pa sa mga low ceiling parking spaces at nakalimutan mo, or na over look mo...prone sa sabit.
For my exalta what i did is to have it changed to indoor antenna, nakatago lang sa likod ng drivers rear view mirror, and disabled the power antenna...worked wonders for me...clear naman ang sagap and no need to drill holes. 600 peso solution compared to a power antenna which usually costs around 1.2-1.5k

good idea saan ka nagpalagay? salamat
