    yesterday nilinis ko ung montero ng father ko tapos after ko malinis pag start ko tapos pinark.nkita ko sa likod parang may mga carbon na lumabas galing sa muffler.normal b o may problem monty namin?btw 1400km mileage reading sa odo.
    minsan pasgbiglang tapak sa accelerator nd sya tumatakbo agad.delay sya mga 3 sec tapos minsan naman pagtapak biglang hataw sya.ganun b tlaga?gls-v nga pala unit namin.

    Not really required, if you have patience enough para maghintay to idle the engine after usage, big-savings, maliban sa gastos sa turbo timer, so increased life of the engine..

    agree for sir monty_GTV, and some additional info about the cooldown of the turbo (turbine)

    ang turbo kasi is a "small" turbine "engine" wala po itong "cooling system", unlike sa 4D56 engine itself, meron syang cooling system (radiator & coolant) ang turbo, is cooled down by means of "Ram Air" kung naka-stationary yung sasakyan (idle mode w/engine running) so ang nagiging cooling system ng turbo is the cooler fan from the engine radiator,

    to prevent "thermal shock" not only for the turbo, pati na rin sa mismong engine, to increase the lifespan, lessen the wear and tear, at lesser maintenance.. (in short, laki ng savings rather than spending..hehe )

    naka-low at high ang horn...no wires attached, lipat lang po sa position. by means of screw.

    1. not only the cabon deposit galing sa exhaust, pati na rin ang "carbon monoxide at fumes" galing sa exhaust,
    kaya iwasan tumambay sa exhaust area....

    2. it means yung engine ECU and the fuel injector amount control, properly functioning..kaya normal yun experience ng delay..

    ang engine ECU ay merong sensors kung gaano yung application ng tapak sa accelerator pedal at dun sa compensation timing at control ng fuel injection...ayon din po sa magazine na nabasa ko...



    ano po ba yung transmission ng GLS-V unit nyo po?! the AT po ba or the MT?!

    same model variant po tayo pero sa amin is the MT version,

    pero ang pahabol po doon sa magazine, merong drive train system protection control ang MT. (4WD)

    control ni ECU is fuel injection amount para di lumagpas sa 3000RPM..

    first and reverse gear, kung na 4LLc position
    kung less than 5kms/or less ang takbo..

    once in a while, especially sa umaga bago ka lumabas ng garahe bombahin mo gas pedal para lumabas ang naipon na carbon deposits. or kung maluwag ang daan at safe, biritin mong patakbuhin para lumabas yung makapal na usok.

    yung delay that is yung turbo lag na tinatawag. wala pa sa desired rpm para yung turbo maabot yung boost na kailangan kaya parang hirap. usually nasa 1800 to 2000rpm bago mag-engage ang turbo. to minimize the lag and improve the response, need mo pedal box o kaya naman diesel chip.

    afaik, meron pong cooling system yung turbo which is the oil lines going to the turbo bearing. meron metal tubing going in between the turbo and compressor casing, that is the oil line. sa bilis po ng ikot at sobrang init ng turbo tunaw ang seals kapag walang oil. actually yan yung ginagamitan ng turbo timer, para di mamatay agad ang makina. kapag pinatay yung makina na mabilis pa ikot ng turbo, stop na ang supply ng oil and since mainit pa so may tendency na matuyoan ng oil yung bearing at masira yung oil seals. mahal daw yan kapag nasira.

    Ask ko lang po pag pina exterior body detail ba yung monty, mavo void ang warranty? Meron din po bang detailing services sa mga mitsu casa?

    hindi po ma void ang warranty niyo kung detailing lang. kung detailing services naman, better sa mga reputable detailing shops huwag na sa casa.
