mga sirs... eto na final spec ng 2011 montero se:
variant will be called montero sport GT-V 4WD AT

Engine: 4D56 2.5 turbocharged and intercooled dsl
Max Power: 178HP/4000rpm
Max Torque:350Nm/1800 - 3500rpm
Turbocharger: Variable Geometry Turbo (developed by IHI)

key spec changes for the Montero GT-V:

4speed INVECS II AT to 5speed INVECS II AT
new front grille w/ GTV emblem (Honeycomb)
paddle shifters
3-MID system w/ touch screen interface NAVI system, integrated audio functions, DVD playback, iPod, USB, Bluetooth (AVT)
carbon fiber rear spoiler
tail pipe finisher

di po pwede ilagay ang VGT sa present Monteros kasi you also have to replace some of the internals. It now uses high strength bearing caps and high strength aluminum alloy pistons, thinner piston rings to accomodate the cooling cavity and high load small and big end con rod bearings

price... wala pa official from the plant, although may isang dealer who is quoting the 4x2 AT*1.410M but its not official yet. both 4x4 AT and 4x2 AT have the VGT engine. 4x4 MT will have the 3-MID system, 4x2 MT is unchanged

units... is already here but it still has to wait until the Feb 24 launching. price will be announced then. same color availability, no introduction of new colors.

hahaha baka para magreserve ka na =) sabi2x nila feb24... yun iba 2nd week of feb.. regardless 2nd week or feb24 which is 3rd week.. kung madami na nakapila talagang baka mga march na mabigyan yun mga ngayon pa lang magrereserve or worse baka april pa (kung sobrang dami na naunang nagpareserve ah)

Ayyy sorry sir... kasi kh8 eh (kala ko kate) anyway ayun ayos, sabi nga sakin kahapon nun dealer tsaka SA wala na daw old 2010 stocks, inuubos na lang yun mga for release at nakakuha na nun 2010? last releases daw sa katapusan.

Bakit yun gtv 4x4 pa lang may pahaging sa price haha yun 4x2 din sana :P tingin niyo sir okay lang naman magreserve na? may sense kaya yun? kahit wala pang price?

haha.. naka reserve na nmn ako sa 2011 nung last last week pa hehe.. kaso sa tagal parang gusto ko na mag back out haha.. feeling ko tagal pa talaga ito e hehe.. sa nababasa ko mukha nga sbi iba SA kaya na nila mag labas 1st week of feb totoo kaya?

Yeah Normy. Am on the waiting list for over a week.

For those who may be confused about the specifications given by Nocturnal, he stated it is the specification for the SE (GT-V). The SE is in small (se).

He didn't give the spec for the other models but he did give price.

All of what he said is in line with what my SA has said to me, except he mentioned reversing camera and never mention the new name designation (GT-V)

Hahaha aga sa reserve... ako naman inaantay ko muna full specs and price bago reserve... haha :P hahaha tiis tiis lang... mukhang accurate na yun feb 2nd week/ feb24 medyo madami dami na ko SA na napagtanungan yun na ang sinasabi nila... pero yun makapaglabas ng 1st week of feb? haha salestalk na yun pre... feb 18 pa lang daw media test eh... plus lets say, makapaglabas nga eksakto ng feb24 right after launching for sure sa dami ng pumila na nung january first week pa lang.. baka ilan na nakapila hehe unless kasali ka sa nauna pumila :D

magiisang buwan na nga akong commute mode eh... hahaha napaaga benta ng kotse ko tapos nasabayan ng VGT news kaya hindi ako natuloy sa monty 2010...

un nga po ang nkakaasar sa sales talk ng mga SA e. haha.. tayo na bibili tyo pa parang nahabol sa kotse haha.. any way hantay ko na lang cguro baka mag sisi ako pag 2010 pa pinili ko haha.. wla na din white haha.. yaan nio sir normyline22 pag nasa kamay nio na montero vgt nio sulit naman un..

Hello guys,

My SA just called, sabi nila (he was quoting his manager) ONLY automatic transmission variance (4x4 AT and 4x2 AT) will be launched this February. Further, he states that those are the ONLY variance that will have the VGT.

I’m opting kasi for the GLX, sabi niya 2011 4x2 MT will be the same (specs and all, not even a new grill, year lang ang difference) as last year’s. Can anyone confirm this? I would really appreciate any comments on this soonest, kasi meron na daw sila nung color na gusto ko.
