July 28th, 2011 12:00 PM #821Hi to all. I'm new to this forum. I own a Biscuit White GLX 4x2 MT.
To those looking for original accessories, they are available at your local dealer. Just inquire at the Parts Section and not at the Accessories Section because all they have are wind deflectors or side visors. I had my mudguards installed at Diamond Motors Quezon Ave. By the way. anybody looking for side-mirror protectors? They are available at Nihhao in Banawe (formerly Nihhon).

July 28th, 2011 01:31 PM #822Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I'm seeing more ASX's on the road now
Barely a week of owning the car, I already see some small scratches near where the door scuff guard would normally be (due to contact with shoes). Not that I want you guys to have the same problem but do any of you have scratches there? Please tell me that I don't have to worryI could use some scuff guards right about now. But since I can't find any, what do you you guys do to prevent the scratches? I don't want to sound like I'm whining but this is my first car and I'm being really OC about keeping it scratch-free and clean. I'm sure you guys understand.
Thanks for the heads up, TGRGE. I'll go give them a call about the mudguards.

July 28th, 2011 02:33 PM #823Scratches are everywhere on my asx..hehehehehe...natural lang yun bro..may minor dent pa nga yung akin sa isang pinto..nakakainis pero ganun talaga...what i can advise to you is to go to a paint or detailing shop and ask them to apply a polymer sealant on your body paint..ok yum lalo na ngayung nag uuulan..parang nagiging dahon ng gabi yung body ng asx kapag napatakan ng ulan..hehehe...

Congratz on your new ride. Thanks for the heads up.
Fine and small scratches are normal especially on dark colored cars (Black, Red, Brown and etc.). Being OC is understandable but being too OC will just hurt you since some small scratches will happen and are out of your hands.
Small dents can also happen especially on doors but can mostly be fixed with PDR (Paintless Dent Repair).

July 29th, 2011 12:02 PM #828another question/observation...
Does your car have the arm rest on the 2nd row?... Or is it again for the 4wd version only... Medyo kulang explanation ng Sales Agent sa akin... All the while I thought the only difference between the 2wd VS 4wd is the drivetrain and HID... parang ang dami palang difference... 4wd version was not displayed in the showroom when I went.
Also, if your into collecting tin cars... meron available na ASX tin car (yun matchbox, hotwheels) brand is Tomy... available in all toy stores :-)
