2010 Mitsubishi ASX Crossover

I just ordered a rear back-up camera that fits into the black plastic "cover" near the rear hatch release.

It should arrive in a week or so. Hopefully it should work with the stock HU.

San ka nag-order? Sa akin ... bad trip nakausap ko last nite yung agent ko sa Peak at ang sabi di daw dumating yung order nila at baka matagalan daw... so balak ko Anti-theft Alarm na lang paris sa dati kong lancer.Kasi naisip ko importante rin yon... like let say nasa parking yung asx mo at naatrasan o nasagiran eh... may sisigaw na pwde magbigay ng attention sa security kung walang alarm?... hit and run ang mangyayari. Minsan pag may tambay at sasandalan... pwde mong ipa-alarm kung doon ka lang malapit sa car mo...importante rin..db?

I ordered mine through Alibaba online retail store. The actual part supplier is located in china which is not a surprise. The camera "kit" was priced at US$24 plus another $15 for shipping. It might seem a bit more expensive (as compared to buying what is already available here) but if I can get that OEM fit & finish, it should be worth the price.

As for alarms, the first thing I had installed was an aftermarket car alarm to supplement the basic security system of the ASX. The real reason for the aftermarket alarm was for the auto-locking of the doors when I starting driving the car. Side benefit is having a 2nd alarm system if I happen to park in a questionable area.

Since the launch of the ASX last year, current active owners here in tsikot are limited. Most concerns and informations can be shared within this thread adequately.

As of now, I don't see the need for a separate site/forum.

Let's just enjoy our ride and see what happens.

Question regarding alarm... Is there a way I can make my factory installed alarm chirp? . . . I have to double check each time I lock it. . . Sanay Lang ako sa may sound...

*osvn2002: Thanks again for getting/shipping me the OEM Window visors.

I had my local Mitsubishi Dealer (here in Cebu) install it since I'm not familiar with the brackets that came with the visors. I was able to have them install it for free (save for the slight tip). It really looks great.
