My whole time is devoted to taking care of my second Mom. I don't even have time for myself anymore. Pero minsan matigas pa din ulo re her health. It makes me wonder if she realizes my sacrifice. But my Mom said the same, naawa siya sakin because I don't even have time for myself anymore and I don't even have a BF daw. Si SO nga,he has to beg for us to see each other. Hilong hilo na nga ko, umiiyak na lang ako while driving from sheer exhaustion. I'm very lucky my boss allows me to work from home and come in the office for a few hours lang when needed.

We can't even find a maid much more a caregiver. She is 100% functional. It's just that she is not allowed to walk so she has to stay in bed except when going to the bathroom. If she weren't hard headed, things would be easier, for example, oras ng inom ng gamot, hindi pa niya magawang sundin. I have to prepare her medicines, iinumin na lang kailangan bantayan pa because if you don't remind her she won't take it. Doctor told her to make sure she is hydrated. I have to check on her every few hrs and make sure she drinks water because otherwise she won't. Those little things add up sa stress.

I'm taking her to the best doctors and getting the most expensive treatment I can afford to get her well fast. Hindi ako makaaalis pag hindi siya magaling.

Yung 90+ yr old Lola ko, she knows how to take care of herself. She monitors her BP, takes her medicines on time and follows the doctor's order to the T. How I wish my second Mom could be like that, if she would only be cooperative.
