Recreated my Windows 7 VM in VirtualBox. It's usually what I use when surfing for pr0n. If it gets nuked by malware from the site? Just delete the VM and recreate it.
It didn't get nuked in this case. But, I wanted to delete my Linux VM and I accidentally deleted my Windows 7 VM instead. Ooops.

October 28th, 2017 01:50 PM #1458Just finished troubleshooting my power window because up down switch does not respond. Last night I left the window half open because I cannot close it, it happened the other day when my wife texted me that the window control on the passenger side dont function after it was controlled down by my daughter and the glass hit the servo of the door lock which common to that part of the window of my car, then suddenly , they cannot close or control the window to go up. They parked outside the office and when I saw it, it is indeed half open. So they went home with the car and when i also reached home at about 7pm, saw it half open still. After dinner, tried to fix it, dismantled the door cover figuring out what went wrong, still the coontrol does not respond. So put all back what I dismantled leaving the window half open till morning. Before going to sleep, i tried googling the circuit of the motor for power window and it is only 2 wire, so first thing in the morning what came to my mind is to connect directly the motor so I can at least close the window since my wife going to use it and i dont want it to be half open all day. Interchanging the polarity of the wire from battery to motor of power window enable me to up and down the window so i was able to close it. So after that I was able to bring my wife to work and when I came back, I again dismantled the possible thing that may have caused it, relays, relays, flasher, by doing it, I was able to identify relays of my door lock and flasher switch. But still i cant find a relay for the power window passenger side. So upon checking other window, OMG, cant control the others also, only the one at the driver side will respond, hmmmn.... so it came to my mymimd that maybe some wires were diaconnected on the control, So I started to dismanyle the driver side door, remove the power window controls.... and suddenly I was able to glance the LOCK button. The one button that will disable all window to be open by your passenger, it was pressed. I'M stupid.... i did all those complex thing with out checking the basic. I have a moral here... dont complicate the issue, start first with the basic. 😁
