Ya, people still believe in text scare? Ilang beses na sinabi yan sa news na wag magpapaniwala. If I were you Cathy murahin mo nalang yan

I live with people above 60 and I am worried about leaving them at home but I have no choice because I have to go to work
You always have a choice. O di magabsent ka, nobody knows what might happen next mas maganda unahin mo family mo kesa sa job mo. It's an easy pick

Just get the usual stuff ready for this storm:

    -emergency food and water
-flashlight and batteries (candles, matches, lighter might also be handy)
    -first aid kit
-other stuff that may help either during or immediately after the storm (tools, tape, ropes, etc).

Typhoon Parma is forecast to strike the Philippines as a super typhoon at about 12:00 GMT on 3 October. Data supplied by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall will be near 17.2 N, 123.2 E. Parma is expected to bring 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 268 km/h (166 mph). Wind gusts in the area may be considerably higher.’ Reuters said.

I saw that movie already and the paranoia lingered for a few days nga but the scariest for me was Outbreak.

I was supposed to take a leave but my boss told me that I cannot be absent today unless the government declares that there will be no work. Mahirap din kasi mapaginitan. Anyway, I feel relieved now knowing that Metro Manila will not be a direct hit. I have friends from Provident Village and Vista Verde and we really don't need any more typhoons in our area.

BTW in our neighborhood grocery wipe out na bread, canned goods and fruits.

Charge all the things that needs to be charged while it's early ( cellphone, ipods etc. ) And, dont forget.....batteries!

More or less, electricity will be cut sometime tomorrow due to the heavy winds etc.

Who will go out later? It's a friday. :bwahaha:
