sabi nga ni JFK ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country
yung mga kapitbahay natin ganyan din ang thinking serve their country first... look at japan and korea and china.

For me, tama yung sabi ni Shadow. Masarap magbakasyon sa US but if it's to live there, ibang usapan na yan. It depends though. Some i've seen turned out to be okay but i've also seen other families return to the Philippines and do much better here.
What makes me think about migrating to the US or Canada is the quality of basic services, security, and health care that are provided to citizens. Nakakapikon na kasi yung gobyerno natin dito. Otherwise, it's still the good 'ol P.I. for me and my family.

April 19th, 2013 01:59 PM #26TUMPAK! Been in and out of the US because of my line of work. Nung first time ko makakita ng snow, tuwang tuwa ako. Ganun ang cycle nila monday to friday.

stuff like that
a govt that provides services that really work
tulad ng sabi ni vinj:
What makes me think about migrating to the US or Canada is the quality of basic services, security, and health care that are provided to citizens.

1) If there is already a job waiting for you there.
2) If the pay is at least 3 times your current or if you convert to peso hindi bababa ng 150K considering the cost of living there
3) If you already have a place to stay for a year man lang sa kamag anak para at least makapag tabi ka sa sarili mo bago ka kumuha ng sarili mong place na maayos ayos
They are more liberated there ...
Sa pay grade mo nasa above average earner ka na sa non IT related job dito sa atin... hindi man ganun kalaki ang excess pero at least it can make ends meet.
Kung binata ka sana mas madali yan but the decision is still up to you. I'm just pointing out that based on what you have now, you have to ask the following
1) Will the financial gains be worth it? (ito naman lagi bottomline kaya may umaalis)
2) Will I be able to change my outlook in dealing with people and how will it affect your family?
Lastly pray for it. Sa dami ng pwede pa namin i enumerate dito it still you who will decide
