Migrate or not to migrate to the U.S.

one thing i noticed abroad (north america),
compared to us here,
walang masyadong children doon.
playgrounds are under-appreciated...

There are plenty of children where I am. You normally see them frequenting playgrounds and skateboard parks when it's not too hot.

My kid (way back in the 2nd Grade) is in there somewhere.

Pansin ko lang, ang kaunti ng mga babae dun.. Or siguro sa IT Industry and HQ kasi kaya mas madami lalaki?
Nilakasan ko lang loob ko, inisip ko na lang hindi gagawa ng masama yung mga katrabaho ko..
Pero ang pandak ko kasi ang tatangkad ng mga tao dun, wala ako kalaban-laban kung sakali..
Isa yan sa mga kinatatakot ko dun.. Sa hallway ng hotel, lakad-takbo ako sa takot na baka meron humablot sakin papasok ng room nila..
Salamat na lang may Uber taxi din dun na sync sa system ng company namin.. Kaya 50% feeling safe, just in case madali ma-trace yung last taxi na sinakyan ko pati na din yung route..
Ang laking tulong ng technology ng smart phone.. Napaka-husay ng mga Pinoy na nag-migrate bago pa nauso ang internet.. Ang lalakas ng loob nila, mahinang nilalang ako ang dami kong takot.. [emoji23]

I take it you were in a bad neighborhood? I agree you have to be vigilant if that's the case. But, if you're feeling weak? Think back to WW2 when times were really bad. If she can be tough? So can you.

She was a Pinay WW2 guerilla at my wife's home province.

my cousins in california plan to retire here in pinas says a lot about the state of things in the usa i.e. in decline...

but as long as you got money it's great to live there. sometimes i think about selling all my properties here. then i'll buy a RZR side-by-side and ride trails in utah. it's a huge country. i've spent a total of 3 full months in there and i feel that i've barely scratched the surface
