^cat, an unsolicited advise. You dont need a project to get promoted. Just give your best on anything you are doing and exceed your boss' s expectations and promotion will follow. Dont settle with just meeting the expectations.

He had to give me projects to justify my promotion. It's not his sole decision kasi. Employees are pitted against one other (and that also goes for management). Naka bell curve, malas mo pag kasabayan mo puro mga bibo din. There's too much focus on competition. Corporate politics I am asking around where I could apply. Ayoko na dito kasi umalis na din friends ko. Only my German boss is keeping me from resigning but I don't think I can go on any longer

ha ha ha. I never complained about my boss. In fact, I am all praises for him I loved my job, boss and colleagues that's why I lasted 5 years in spite of the low salary.

What I cannot bear with now is the new people I work with I feel sick every time I am at work. My boss even noticed yesterday and asked why I am so sad.

I am happy because when I checked my email this morning I got a "very good" email from my German boss and a "keep up the good work" from my AVP. It makes me feel like I am in kindergarten I am still lucky I have great bosses, I really don't like my new colleagues lang.
