the first time, we didn't know how to deal with the 2 year old, barring the door one morning, announcing, "daddy, hindi ka papasok today!"
fond memories.

My son is like my shadow. Lagi nakabuntot sakin. Wherever I go, "I'll go with you". Wonder if the next one will be "maka-daddy" or "maka-mommy".

take advantage of it, po!
teach him to do ordinary chores that do not require special talent... picking up 'refuse', sweeping the floor, wiping the furniture, laundering socks...
when he grows up, it will be second nature to him to clean the house and service his clothes, etc.
he won't balk at menial work.

babying our kids is a formula for marshmallows.
