BTT: Happy that I am able to sleep longer now. I got to catch up on sleep kanina and slept from 2 am to 2 pm! Now I am feeling sleepy again

was finally able to fix the culprit of my laptop's frequent thermal shutdowns: a scotchbrite-thick solidified dust blocking the heat pipe's radiator from being cooled by the fan's air.

Now, no more shutdown even during heavy tasks and graphic-chip taxing apps.

Just learned that the processor is socketed. It means, I can upgrade it.

I have the service manual (Asus K4X series) but opted to just remove as many screws as possible to tear it down. Now I have 4 strange looking screws that I don't know what for. :rofl:
