the alcohol lowers its freezing temp to about -25 degrees C.
the usual home freezer goes down to -14 to -18 deg. C.

beers, because they have less alcohol and whatnot, freeze at -2.2 deg. C.

When I lived in Chicago, I just leave the beer and vodka cruisers on the veranda of our apartment during winter. In January, it’s like -12*C to -20*C outside. So I have cold drinks everyday without using my fridge.

Maybe in Upstate New York, spirits like gin or vodka will freeze outside. Winters in that area push the temperature down to -30*C to -35*C!

A long time ago when we went to Tappiya Falls we'd just leave beers under the clear river water. It gets cold in just a few minutes.

Happened to me once in college, bad fall from a rebound. Never fully healed na but not burdensome naman.
Happened last year nung actively jogging nung lockdown. Felt some pain mero manageable naman. I stopped the run because of sciatica. A month ago, the knee hurt really bad. Did an ortho consult, meniscal tear nga. Nakuha sa rest & arcoxia. Yesterday, I squatted when I was working. Sumakit ulit.
I think my legs are not that sturdy, coupled with the wear & tear of being athletically active during my school days.

You can do the same with vodka or whisky or tequila or just about any spirit.

Kahit daw sa Beach, lagay lang daw sa buhangin na naka lubog sa tubig. You just have to secure it para hindi tangayin ng agos.
