If you can post the VIN and the engine no. of your mini then we will know the specifics. Will be glad to help.

If it's a yr 94 model na jap version, 1.3i na engine mo with the serial no that starts with 12A....... you should also have a bigger front seats ( two stemmed headrests) and wiper washer bottle is located inside the trunk ( mounted sa right rear arch). you can post your VIN number and paint code and trim code.

hello peeps! i'm trying to buy my friend's mini. he restored it to his taste so, i really dont know how it originally looks. i researched a little and minimania'a "ID your Mini" helped me a number of months ago. it seems that my friend's mini is a MK2. Engine is a 998. M/T. '91 model. MK2, am i right? Do you guys have pictures of MK2s? How much should such mini cost?

A lot of people say that classic minis are:

    1. Hard to drive, hard to steer, hard to use
    2. hard to source parts

These people make me feel discouraged to the point that i think of discontinuing having a mini project. Are these infos facts?

If its a 91 mod., it should be mk6.....I believe a Mini owner will tell you a lot of good things about the Mini. The parts...well......compare to other cars... but availability is still ok. Can we ask other Mini enthusiasts about this?

No one should tell you how to live your life...let alone, how to dream your dreams.

Once you're driving around in your restored mini...ask the same people who discouraged you how it feels to watch you driving away in your dream.
