i drove my wife's sentra with bt. maybe the deal was not meant to happen. since my wife's phone has priority over other phones, the sentra bt paired up with hers. i did notice the phone vibrating, but we already made up our decision.

Get a bluetooth headset na chief. Or set the call to loudspeaker mode if you can, and tone down the radio.
A $10,000 Metro is just crazy. I saw a G20 the other day, hindi ko alam kung ikaw yon or hindi.

this probably deserves its own thread.
i just discovered the reason behind the rally car on the pic and the ae86 i kept seeing in the shop, the head mechanic and recent new owner gushi is tsukasa gushi (drifting and rally driver), father of pro drifting driver ken gushi. i just watched a drifting show by chance and saw them.
i guess ill stop thinking that my shop is just a small one on the corner. gushi and i have talked quite a bit when i bring my cars for the last 10 years. he talks and acts just like all the mechanics and staff. maybe i should stop by and get gushi and son's autographs.

here's a little hunt update and a request for some input.
test driven 2 hyundai tiburons:
first - lots of wear and tear but good otherwise. idle fluctuates when driving and ac on and car is stopped. i decided to pass since we cant get any inspection done. we met at a hyundai dealership and was told would take up to 4 hours. the seller sold it later that day.
second - i rushed to see this one after i was told "excellent in/out," and "needs nothing" as a response to my typical questions. major scrapes around the car, door handle missing, interior looks like a bomb exploded inside, and the car has been in an accident. the seller kinda unusual (wont drive the car, let me drove it to a mechanic by myself). after inspection and about $1200 estimate to fix the car that "needs nothing" i came back and offer very low to be rejected. it worked and i went home. he called back but i didnt answer. the words that came from him after i informed him about the "excellent" condition of the car sounds like a typical car salesman who dismisses everything wrong with the problem. the car was in his dads name, i figured he was trained to say specific things.
lately, im eyeing at two cars and may decide very soon. i appreciate any thoughts/feedback on this:
1. 1995 240sx se (s14) rare concord gray color 82K very low miles and in very good condition for $5K. the dealer specializes on 240sx's and aware that the car is hard to find. final price, taking to a mechanic not allowed since he had parts swapped or stolen before. i see his point.
2. 2000 g20 (p11) bronze color 77K miles. feature wise same as my last one on the thread with some slight improvements. excellent condition in and out. $6900. if i make an offer on this, ill go for $6K.

max, personally i'd pass on any car where the seller doesn't allow you to get the car inspected. the whole "parts stolen" bit is not an excuse because you can always agree to send the car to a shop that he trusts (like a new-car Nissan dealer).
also, i'd pass on any car that looks like it's been beaten on, neglected, or not taken care of. in my personal experience people who don't keep their cars clean/let the inside pile up with garbage are also the people who dont bother with maintenance or getting issues fixed in a timely manner. you may think that the car can always be cleaned up/repainted/fixed, but who knows what else has been neglected under the surface

the s14 miles and history is legit via carfax/autocheck. the dealer suggests to bring a mechanic instead.
thanks empy. those signs of neglect are always in my head when i decide. im only willing to take a chance when the price gets very low like the g20.
