Mazda 3 has the most superb drive handling performance in local compact sedan class similar to its Ford Focus cousin.

    It means:

    1. Fastest cornering
    2. Most sensitive steering
    3. Stable high speed driving
    4. In short, it's a sports oriented compact sedan

BTW, there are several mazda parts dealers available in Banawe, QC. like MazFord, Mazda Autorama.

The 2.0L has better FC in city driving compared to the 1.6L model because it's not underpowered, but in Highway driving, the 1.6L has better FC.

Both 2nd gen. Mazda 3's on sale in Singapore and Malaysia are CBU imports from Japan which are really much expensive compared to the locally assembled 1st gen Mazda 3 exported also in Asean region. These two countries can afford to buy these more expensive new 3's from Japan because they are richer than us. Singapore was first to get the new 3 then Malaysia followed. Nainggit yata. Di na nila mahintay yung Asean built new 3.

Anyway, I think it's still uncertain(correct me if I'm wrong) where the less expensive new Mazda 3 to be built in Asean region would be assembled(Either in Ford Laguna plant or Thailand). I hope it would be built here locally to make it less expensive and for stable local jobs at FGP plant. Once news where the Asean built new 3 would be built breaks out, that's the time we should start the clock ticking for the new Mazda 3 launch here. I'm also eagerly waiting for this event.

Large car companies do not think that way. It has been decided 2 years ago that the All-new Mazda3 will be built on the Mazda AAT plant in Thailand. Tooling for the new car is in place already.

I thought the decision to assemble the new Mazda 3 in AAT is just a rumour, and only the Fiesta and Mazda 2 will be assembled. Anyway, I guess this is true. Then the countdown should start now. This is good news for local Mazda 3 fans.

Any latest info what will happen to FGP plant in Laguna?

Mine's a 2005 model. Added a bunch of stuff this year.

    Fog lights
    HIDs
    CAI
    Headers
    Big Brake Kit Fronts
    Coilovers
    Advanti Racing Wheels

Engine mounts fell. CV driveshaft broke, Ford plant had them in stock, overnight wait. Parts are easy to get and reputable service shops specialized with the Mazda3 platform are plentiful enough. (Mazford, Fordlandia *Banawe...Speedlab....Casa...PCC)

bumangga kasi sa gutter. so lumuwag yung bumber ko. ;(
My bumper is also for replacement. Nag karoon sya ng big dent sa ilalim ng pag lamp nung tumama sa bato during parking. Nasa 20+K ang quote the casa for bumper replacement. The good thing is the insurance will shoulder the cost since I filed it as O/D. Only the participation ang share ko.

Replacement sa casa is 3-4weeks daw. IMO, ang tagal naman. pwede naman nilang pintahan yung bumper agad to much the color of the car then ikakabit na lang pag dinala na yung car sa casa. Im not sure bakit kailgangang abutin 3-4 weeks ang pag palit ng bumper.

Because they're going to order a new bumper. Casas don't stock spare bumpers... they all order them from the plants. Personal experience is the same with Honda, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, etcetera.

Be glad it's not major damage... if it's a really unusual item like a rear fender, be prepared to wait 2-3 months.
