November 7th, 2017 10:14 AM #235Guise, musta road condition from Bauang to Vigan?
Dami bang pasaway na bus at tricycle?
Is it safe to drive at night Vigan to Bauang?
From Laguna kasi we'll go to Baguio (Friday) before attending a wedding in San Fernando/Bauang (Monday). But since we have like two days to spare and we've been wanting to go to Vigan for a long time, we decided to have a side-trip there. I am now trying to plan the travel especially within the Ilocos Region.
So the plan is Laguna to Baguio (Friday to Saturday_AM) to Vigan (Saturday_PM to Sunday) to Bauang (Sunday_PM to Monday)
I am specifically trying to know if driving from Vigan (depart around 4pm of Sunday) to Bauang is a good idea. Baka kasi gabihin and we have kids with us and I am not familiar with the place although byenan's are originally from there.
Hope to get useful info from you guys! Thanks!

Mas okay nga actually bumyahe to Vigan ng gabi - less tricycles on the road after 7pm.
Marami pa ring bus but they're not unruly IMO. If hindi ka familiar with the road, just tail one of the Farinas buses and you'll get to Vigan quickly.
May mga road construction pa rin as usual, but if you're traveling at night then there's not much traffic.
Kung 4pm ka babyahe maaraw pa yan until 5:30 and normal traffic pa (not heavy naman except in Candon).

no problem travelling at night.
during Sundays traffic is a bit lighter (lesser tricycles+motorbikes).
anong oras ba ang target mong arrival sa Bauang?
I guess from Vigan to Bauang if you depart at 4pm, your travel time is approximately less than 3 hours. just watch closely those roadworks/bridge works coz the signages are too close to the actual worksite.
you can use the diversion roads of Candon + San Fernando to gain some faster travel time.
Saan parte ba ng Bauang ang punta mo? Dito lang ako sa Santiago, Bauang.
