Isuzu Trooper discussion

What should I do?
I am driving an Isuzu Trooper, 2002, local model. Upon starting the engine, the "handbrake" & "battery" signs lit up. When I released the hand brake, the "handbrake" & "battery" signs will dim but not totally off. I have checked the brake fluid and it’s ok. I can still drive the trooper with no problems.

sir alternator problem yan...i replace my alternator with a brand new replacement one cost me 7500 one year na siya sa june ok pa naman...medyo mahirap lang tanggalin ang alternator niyan need to remove aircon compressor from its bracket...

Hello there guys! Can you share as to where in Metro Manila magaling magcheck ng emission problems ng Trooper? Yung binenta namin sa family friend namin grabe umusok. Using V-Power diesel somewhat reduces that pero matindi parin. He uses Besco 10W30 as recommended by Isuzu and the filters are already all replaced/cleaned. Allergic siya sa casa kasi grabeng tumaga. So far suspects seem to be the EGR, oxygen sensor and the like. Saan kaya mahahanap ang magaling jan? Patulong naman bros!

sir, how come kasama ang handbrake? wla naman hard starting, chaka brand new ang battery. ang handbrake at battery nag didim lang, after the engine start. are u sure altenator toh?

additional queries. alternator problem. if bago start ko ung trooper. iilaw ung handbrke, oil sign, check engine and battery. then when i start, maiiwan ung handbrake at battery signal. then when i release the handbrake, mag didim konti ang handbrake at battery light? electrical wiring problem? pls help

pinarepair na namin ung alternator last may 2011 sa YORK shop in CUBAo, near sa mga bus station edsa

sir its better to check your alternator first...anong ginawa sa alternator mo anong rinepair?...pansinin murin yung battery voltage gauge mo kung ano ang reading nung nagkaproblem ang sa akin the reading is below 10amps together with light battery indicator and hand brake light...

2) 8 to 9 amp.

3) you have the same problem? (battery indicator and hand brke light?)

pinarepair ko ung alternator last may 2011. yup. mahirap tangalin ung alternor. remove first the compressor

yeah mahal yung set ng injector.. almost 80k. nabili namin yung 4jg2 85k with transmission.. sure fresh from japan, kasi friend namin yung importer. no problem with the mounting, kasi as per sa friend namin from isuzu, parehas lang ang mount ng 4jx1 at 4jg2. im planning to change only the engine. may nakausap ako sa may banawe na, pwede daw gamitin yung 4jx1 na transmission sa 4jg2. electrical works? as per checking, heater and rpm lang yung kakapain. madami na din daw nagpapalit sa banawe from 4jx1 to 4jg2. sana mag work. good luck to us. pag naging success, i post our experiment and experience.
