They are capable of doing that for our market, just use the center console of the D-Max.

IPC retained hydraulic steering on our D-Max. EPS already for Thai and other export markets.

Nissan also did that with the Terra/X-Terra. Middle East got handbrake, local and Thai units got EPB.

Let's just wait and see. If the price and features are right, I might seriously consider replacing my old unit.

The upcoming MUX may have hydraulic steering like the new DMAX. If IPC decided to use MPB. Or higher end variant might get the EPB.

Just seen the DMAX brochure. There is no rear diff lock on 4x4 automatic DMAX. M/T 4x4 only got diff lock. Also I read in a review somewhere that the HU in the DMAX was a AVT HU. I'm not sure if it's really an OEM Isuzu head unit or supplied by AVT.

Hope IPC does not screw up the features on the PHDM MUX.

Yeah I'd remember that was way back late 2013 when they introduce the second gen 2014 DMAX. Still hasn't got the VGT 3.0 engine. Same story with the 1st gen MUX a year later. Only had a 2.5 VGS engine across the range. That engine was less power and torque than its peers. IPC had pleased its buyers to wait for the 3.0 VGS MUX in late 2015.

Like what i said previously, parang same ang mentality ng toyota ph and ipc when it comes to offering their respective models with better specs and pricing than their peers from rival brands. But with okamoto-san the former has been shaping up na since last year i believe. Sana tuloy tuloy na nga. Ipc, otoh, parang halos ganun pa rin pala. Kung mas mura lang sila mag-presyo eh hindi na aangal ang iba sa mga scrimped features ng local lineup.
