    Congratulations on your new ride.

    My father is looking for a new compact SUV. Since I already have a Fortuner, he wanted another make & model. We examined the All-new RAV4 last weekend, however my father did not like the styling which he said is too "funky" for him. I told him about the new Tucson which enjoyed a good review by the owners.

    We will be visiting the Tucson dealer in the next few days. Hope my father will like it. Thanks a lot for this thread.

    Saw a black one last night sa Libis, cute nga sya, not too big, not too small... The size makes it a little special, hindi AUV-sized...

    It's a great looking car and the price (for the petrol model) is a freaking steal. I might be on the market for one in a couple of months when I finally get to dump the crappy AUV here.

    OT: Why do people call it Tuc?

    People have this tendency of shortening terms, "Tuc" = short for "Tuc-son". Though Tucson is actually read as "Too-sawn" which is a place in Arizona US. Some people I know read it as "Tuck-son".
