[quote=maxvel;1043744]similar yong problem ko nawala yong power ng SF ko and may naririnig ako sa engine. Brought it to EROD and they change the Air filter ok na uli.
Good day Sir Maxvel,
I think I have the same problem kasi kanina sa commonwealth hanggang 60 kph lang at ayaw ng humatak. No power! and nagflash sandali yung check engine light. 14K na po ang odo ko. Ipasok ko sa casa bukas (EROD), May I know how much po total they charged you to fix this - parts and labor? TIA

April 3rd, 2008 01:17 PM #5055We filled up the tank first. Pag dating sa halfway mark, dun na kami nagstart mag compute. We noted the number of liters from the halfway mark to full tank then took note of the number of kilometers travelled from full tank until we reached the halfway mark again, tapos yun na, we divided the number of kilometers travelled with the number of liters put in.
Kakalito ba?
It works for us e. Ayaw kasi namin na yung empty mark o 1/4 mark yung gawing parang reference point e, mas madali yung halfway mark kasi may linya talaga. Yung iba kasi naming sasakyan walang 1/4 mark, e ito na talaga yung ginagawa namin to determine our consumption dati pa.
Good luck!

April 4th, 2008 02:32 AM #5059i always end up refilling at 60L to 63L and my km naglalaro sa 490 to 510km. i always make it a habit na i-reset trip meter just after major full tank. so mga 8km/liter nga
hindi ako nag-refill in between.
I have tried using sports mode before after 1 refill. gulat ako nasa kalahati na ng 1st quadrant and I only travelled 65km. mas malakas pa mag-consumo manual mode
usually my full tank meter starts to move down after first 50km.
pero kung i-aanalyze mo sa PMS, i spend like less than 2k for oil/oil filter change sa CRV, while sa SF hindi baba ng 3,500 per PMS using regular oil pa yan and it's still under warranty sa CASA.
here's a comparison also per manual specs
Honda CRV Oil Capacity: 3.8L or 1 Gallon
Hyundai Sta Fe Oil Capacity: 5.9L per oil change
Honda CRV Fuel Tank Capacity: 58L
Hyundai Sta Fe Fuel Tank Capacity: 75L
Honda CRV Coolant Capacity: 5.9L
Hyundai Sta Fe Coolant Capacity: 8.4L
talagang malakas sa gastos and diesel CRDi. most people just equate savings to cheaper diesel pero if you'll compute, tingin ko talaga mas masuwerte pa bumili ng 4x2 3rd Gen CRV.
1L coolant costs about P330 sa Shell. it's a nightmare kung mag-overheat ka sa daan without knowing what. syempre first solution mo eh refill to test kung may leak. pano kung refill ka sa SF at 4.2L coolant (half-water half-coolant) tapos butas pala. P1K plus down the drain sa CRDi engine.
la lang sinasabi ko lang, i'm giving the figures per my observation on driving 2 different SUVs.
kaya gulat ako sa 10-12km/liter nya. even my previous-owned2nd gen Strada na old school L300 Diesel never reached those figures. 2nd gen strada is considered one of the thriftiest vehicles sa'tin kasi ginagamit sa biz.
