to those asking kung ok sa arangkada...yes hanep sa arangkada! akala mo maiiwan ka sa upuan

don't forget that this has a 128 horsepower with 260 torque and VGT ( variable geometry turbo )...yes naka TURBO po! kaya dapat marunong gumamit ;)

Does a turbo engine require a cool down period?
    Answer:

Yes, a Turbo requires a cooling down time. How long a time really depends on how hard the car was driven prior to wanting to turn it off.

A turbo requires oil to circulate through it in order to keep it cool and lubricated. When you turn your engine off, the Turbo will continue to spin only oil will stop being supplied to the turbo unless the engine is running. THis can cause th turbo to heat up, and for residual oil still on the turbine blades to "cake" on to them. Over time, unless you allow a col down period, you will notice a substancial difference in the performance of your turbo.

Most car manufacturers will not even mention this to you when buying a car with a turbo, and if they do, they will generally recomend a cool down period of 10 seconds. I would suggest 30 seconds after regular driving, and 1 - 1 1/2 minutes after hard driving. from google

You will thus feel a better boost on Ford on as revs get higher while Accent starts its turbo boost even on low revs kaya di masyado ramdam pag mataas n rev mo kasi nung mababa palang may boost na.
this is what i like about it kahit low rev gumagana na yung turbo!

FYI, sir ang crdi ay para lang sa diesel engines.

ang alam ko nga di na sila naglabas ng diesel variant sa bagong ford focus.

that's what i'm referring to the new focus since they don't have diesel variants, gas only. sorry for the confusion. i guess we are talking about new cars here not old ones.

Sarap imaneho siguro niyan ah, ano ba pang mod sa naka turbo na VGT diesel para lalong lumakas sipa? hehe

Question, ang cool down ba pang turbo lang? Kapag hindi nakaturbo na petrol hindi na ba need?
