    Hi Guys,

New member... I was wonder, which of the following offer the best value for money and fuel economy:

    1. Hyundai Accent 1.6 gls a/t
    2. Hyundai Elantra 1.6 gl a/t
    3. Hyundai Elantra 1.8 gls a/t

I'm planning to buy this November... Hope you guys can help me decide.

By the way, has anyone have the actual fuel economy of the said models???

Which dealerships should be avoided with regard to the elantra (longer waiting times, poor service, least freebies, etc) in Metro Manila?

I would go for the Elantra 1.6. The additional space can come in handy in the future. You can always buy more toys, but you can't buy additional space. If it's for everyday city driving, a 1.6L engine would be ideal enough that it would only sip on gas and still maintain good acceleration from a standstill. But if you value the freeways alot and is a bit peddle-happy, the 1.8L would be the better choice. It's smoother than the 1.8L IVTEC of the Honda FD to boot!

As for the fuel economy, just backread or read the compiled Hyundai fuel consumption database.

Too many. You're better off asking which dealerships are the go-to-dealers rather.
