February 12th, 2014 02:16 PM #5211Went to hancars awhile ago. They can disable the limiter daw. So I won't go to HARI dealers nalang.
I was considering them in case the gray market dealers won't be able the adjust or disable the speed limiter.

February 12th, 2014 03:32 PM #5214EuroStandard told me that they inform their buyers about the speed limiter and offers to deactivate it for free. Ako kasi still considering the GS and the Hiace SG and the Peugeot Expert Tepee as the replacement of our almost 8 year old Strada. Pero number 1 choice ang GS from the Gray Market. EuroStandard so far ang nakapagbigay ng best deal. Ginawa nilang freebie yung heads up display (same nung kay Hancars), free tint nila is 3M or V-Kool OEM series (choice of the client), tapos better PMS schedule than Hancars (every 5k if mineral oil gamit, every 10k pag fully synthetic oil gamit).

Sorry for the ultra late replies, for some reason di ko makita itong thread na ito.
Eto pa, nung binili yung unit (gray market) sabi nila kahit saang "accredited Hyundai dealership" nila pwede magpaservice. 2 years onward babaguhin bigla terms ng warranty, sa kanila na lang daw pwede magpa PMS or we will void your warranty.

February 12th, 2014 08:23 PM #5218Alam ko saang gray market dealer yan. Hancars. I also inquired with them. They do not want to accept bank POs coming from PNB (our preferred bank because we are a preferred client thus we get low interest rates from them) and PS Bank because according to them, matagal magbayad sa kanila yung 2 bangko. Also, their PMS schedule is ridiculous. They insist that the oil change interval is every 5,000 kms, mapa mineral or fully synthetic oil ang ginamit mo. That's why I crossed out Hancars from my list. It's only EuroStandard and Pitstop that's on my list right now. The good thing with EuroStandard is that Auto Access in West Avenue is being renovated right now and will turn into EuroStandard in March.

February 13th, 2014 12:20 AM #5220Yung akin one time nagka moist ang camera, sabi 1 year lang daw warranty sa electrical, which is nowhere to be found sa warrant booklet nila. Dun ako nabadtrip kakapa service ko pa lang sa Q. Ave after a week tumawag na sa kanila na lang daw pwede magpa PMS. Anyways, kung i void nila warranty let it be. Minsan over exxagerated ang pagppuri nila sa GS units nila. It's the same as any modern cars today may mga part lang na mas advance ang KDM kesa sa HARI unit. At kkaiba nga kada PMS palit ng air filter samaantalang sa Q.Ave sabi kada 10k lang daw palit nun. Yung HUD ko medyo nagloloko na rin, anyway let it be hanggang masira, di na ako aasa ng claim dun.
