i hear you. my 3-series has the whole DSC treatment and it really is invasive even on pavement. i understand it's there for the average driver to not get in trouble, but it takes some of the fun away...

problema lang, i'm not sure if we can get non-electronically assisted SUV's here in the states anymore. maybe the Jeep Cherokee (which i hate)?

A lot of trucks in the USDM can still be had with a locking rear diff (e.g. the Tacoma).

Mechanical lockers used to be available in the Land Cruiser 80 series. The '95 Montero SR also had a locking rear diff.

Diff locks are still available in the aftermarket, though.

The biggest issue withe electronic stuff on trucks is reliability when used extensively in harsh environements.

I've heard one story where a truck being tested got stuck because the electronics didn't like the situation... they had to disable some electronic differential gizmo before it could go again... which involved crawling under a truck perched between three rocks... scary.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

saw one just the other day... it looks good IMO...

it looks a lot similar to its H2 brother... but without the over exagerrated width. the fender flares are just nice...
