April 17th, 2010 08:02 PM #74guys gusto ko lang sana malaman kung pwde ba gumamit ng e10 fuel sa Honda civic ESI 93 model? PGM-FI na din yung makina e pero natatakot lang ako kargahan ng e10. ang hirap din kasi mag hanap ng gas station na walang e10 at medyo may kamahalan na din yung mga Blaze and other premium gas. pls advice thanks

April 17th, 2010 08:52 PM #76yup read the thread, pero wala po kasi akong nakita about 93 Civic esi 1.6 PGM-FI compatibility with e10. may mga ibang mechanic na nagsabi na basta fuel injected pwde na daw pero duda parin ako. hope you can give advice thanks!

Even if my 1.8 SOHC i-VTEC engine is compatible with E10 and other flex fuels, I noticed a substantial drop in fuel consumption when I tried E10. From the usual FC of 11kms/liter, my FC worsened to 8kms/liter when I used a full tank of E10. So it's back to high octane fuel for me.
