Sir polar01, correct me if I'm wrong.. I think E10 na din ang Petron XCS and yung Shell Premium.. XCS kasi gamit ko and napansin ko kelan lang nagkaroon nung sticker na may ethanol na nga daw..

Really?...di ko pansin yan na may e10 yung premium and xcs.....dapat may sticker yun or proper labeling sa product nila.....kc as of this morning i gassed up in a shell station in kawit and did not notice anything......

guys gusto ko lang sana malaman kung pwde ba gumamit ng e10 fuel sa Honda civic ESI 93 model? PGM-FI na din yung makina e pero natatakot lang ako kargahan ng e10. ang hirap din kasi mag hanap ng gas station na walang e10 at medyo may kamahalan na din yung mga Blaze and other premium gas. pls advice thanks

yup read the thread, pero wala po kasi akong nakita about 93 Civic esi 1.6 PGM-FI compatibility with e10. may mga ibang mechanic na nagsabi na basta fuel injected pwde na daw pero duda parin ako. hope you can give advice thanks!

Motorists should only use E-10 gasoline from oil companies/distributors who complied with PNS/DOE QS 008:2006 E-gasoline specifications or look for the marking that says “This E-gasoline contains 10% Bioethanol. Generally recommended for fuel-injection engines” on their dispensing pumps.

I assume if your car is NOT on the compatible list, you can safely assume it is NOT compatible to E10 blended gasoline.

Same question with agp. May difference po ba sa engine ng vti 96-97 and vti 98-00?? Bakit hindi pwede e10 sa 96-97??

Even if my 1.8 SOHC i-VTEC engine is compatible with E10 and other flex fuels, I noticed a substantial drop in fuel consumption when I tried E10. From the usual FC of 11kms/liter, my FC worsened to 8kms/liter when I used a full tank of E10. So it's back to high octane fuel for me.
