I have to correct myself. You only need 15 hp to maintain 80 km/h in a four-wheeled vehicle... if you've got good enough aero.

118 hp won't be an issue until you're close to 120 km/h. Betting that 118 hp diesel will be good for an 11-12 second 0-100 time, similar to the 140-ish hp 2.0s.
Must be in Asia. Look at the cars outside the window in front of the building.
Since it's LHD, that limits it to here, China, Taiwan and Vietnam.

The 160 hp iDTEC does 0-100 in 10-11 sec. A 40hp handicap could be more than just a 1 second penalty with a 1.7-ton CUV.
Not saying it'll ever feel short, since diesels are insanely good at city speeds, even low-power ones. But having driven slow diesels and fast diesels, the latter is obviously more fun for provincial runs.

Petrol engine- 9 speed AT Gas variant 158 HP CVT
Petrol variant will be available on August 8, diesel will be arriving September 21, will be available by first week of October.
