inis na inis nako sa mga feeling important at feeling pulis na mga tao sa may amin near the airport. They bully people out of the road to give them way. so ginawa ko I printed out some copies of PD96 and distributed it at the checkpoints at the airport vicinity.

Im also planning to put up a sticker at the back of my car saying

TASKFORCE P.D. 96
ANTI SIRENS AND BLINKERS

Hehe but I doubt those airport guards can apprehend those convoys carrying 'troops' and bearing protocol plates. Baka sumaludo pa kamo.

another question: since PD 96 talks about private vehicles are inhibited to have sirens and flashing lights.. what about the volunteer firefighters? they are using private vehicles.. even private trucks? so are they not following the rules?

Actually some arent convoys. Some are just those pesky private plates counterflowers with blinkers and sirens. Malamang mga naghahatid sundo sa airport.

AFAIK marked vehicles are only permitted to use them unless there is a permit from TMG/HPG

Ok lang yun as long as they are marked. CMIIW, i think the PD 96 did not indicate na only marked vehicles with red plates can only use sirens and blinkers. Not all For official use vehicles bear red plates. some sport green plates(security plates) for security reasons.

As for the permits. PNP, AFP, BFP, DOTC, NBI can issue M/R or permits for private and unmarked vehicles on their personel.

They were all over the effing road and the Patrol was really swerving and intimidating cars (yung tipong pinipitik yung steering to the left or right). I got beside them a few times and i was really tempted to open my window and give them a one big PUTO NG INA NYO as the bodyguards had their windows open (to make it convenient for those who would want to lob a grenade at them)... but my sanity (aka the wife) kept me at bay.

SOP lang yun sir yung pag swerve ng back-up car for VIPs. kaya kung makasabay kayo ng ganyan mag give way na kayo. wag na kayo mainis dahil SOP ng mga back-up vehicles yung ganoon. Wala tayo magagawa our laws here in our country lacks even the PD96 lacks. kulang na kulang.

But I agree, pag yung mga pa vip na may convoy na Patrol, just give way. that patrol is there specifically to 1. protect the so called VIP 2. bump anyone who disagrees with them
