My very first attempt at dashcam footage. I had my MiniDV camcorder duct-taped on the dash. This was back in February 2009 in Upstate New York.
The Goon Squad HQ part was my wife's work who wouldn't make the "No Work Today" call. So, I had to drive my wife to her work. It's after we arrived that they made the call, telling people not to come in. The drive back home was actually worse. But, I didn't charge the battery of my camcorder.

20-35 mph. Every time I hit 30-35 mph, the Sonata would start sliding to one side. The ESC would kick in and straighten the car out.
If you paid close attention, you'd see the center of gravity shift to one side as the car slid and then shift to the other side as it compensated.
Average speed is probably around 20-25 mph. I couldn't let it get any slower or else the snow resistance made the driving rougher. I had to keep the car in the power band where it can overcome the snow resistance, but not too much where the car would start to slide.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; July 29th, 2017 at 11:47 AM.

I consider this marginal Goon Squad HQ to begin with. But, it does show the V8 drivers around here are a cocky bunch.

^^^ That's a Chevelle SS. It's good to see owners who keep such old muscle in running form.

I don't mind dickhead drivers if they're doing it out of necessity like in the PH, for example. I saw my dad (RIP) drive over there. He had to play the part of an a-hole sometimes to get where he wanted to go. I knew he rather not be one. But, you know. That's daily driving in the PH.
Here, the driving is tranquil and relaxed most of the time. But, there is always one dickhead who was hellbent on ruining everyone's day even if we gave him a wide berth. Nothing to do but give a sigh and let it pass. Cool off and get home in one piece.

I don't know whether to get mad or laugh at these YT videos of insurance scammers. I guess I should laugh.

i am sure, a number of tsikoteers have encountered this one-eyed man-of-the-street, who intentionally throws himself against the front fender. he doesn't fall, but the whatever he's holding gets broken (as if it wasn't already broken earlier), and demands satisfaction.
