November 4th, 2024 06:15 PM #4711In the embedded video you can see there's a code printed at the bottom of the plate that was blurred out. I'm sure all the people involved know whose car it is, just not saying the name out loud and putting pressure via media.

The owner of the plate is not a senator but a company named Orient Pacific Corporation, according to its director Omar Guinomla.
xxx However, this begs the question of how the company was able to obtain and possess such a special plate.
When asked about this, Guinomla said: “Right now, we are conducting an investigation as to how that happened. We will cooperate with the investigation. We will make a formal statement once we have finalized that investigation.”

Sorry for my legal ignorance.... Don't we have battery and/or assault laws here?
I don't understand how someone who attempted to run over a person of authority can get away with just a traffic ticket and an apology.... basically a slap on the wrist? This should've warranted some serious penalties.... some jail time, even.
The legal gate seems so high.... parang kailangan may serious injury muna or mamatay yung victim para may kaso?
