Minsan iniisip ko mga gagawin ko pag naging victim ako ng holdap at nakuha cellphone at wallet ko. 1st I would have to find a cellphone to use to cancel my cards. Then the hassle of trying to replace the government IDs. The last concern would be my health cards.

I'm now thinking of bringing a decoy wallet that has few thousands pesos in it, pero walang IDs and cards. Also bringing an old phone. Eto ibibigay ko sa holdaper.

    Did you know ...

With iOS 15, iPhone models 11 and up will transmit their location even when powered off if you have already chosen to enable “Find My network” in your settings.

This scenario is exactly why I don't use banking apps on my phone, and will always be on postpaid. Just a plain bad idea to have your login be on the same device that's also receiving your OTPs.

Also very possible to permanently lose access to your accounts if the phone number is the only OTP/authenticator and you lose the prepaid SIM. Deactivating your old SIM and getting the same number re-issued would not be a problem with postpaid, but with prepaid you'd be SOL.
Or maybe with SIM registration the telcos are now able to help?

Like what happened to a friend of mine. Her phone got stolen. Sinimot yung Gcash plus nag Gloan pa since may access siya sa OTP na.

Either magaling manghula ng access code ang nagnakaw or kilala nya ang saw it being entered. Na realize ko rin ang delikado ng banking apps sa phone nung minsan lumabas ako. I thought pano na kung naaksidente ako or nahilo sa public place, dikit lang finger ko sa phone open na ang apps. So I immediately restored it to access code.

My phone and my wife's have a second app vault that you cannot see when you unlock the screen. Need mo pang gawin yung gesture sa screen to unlock (need code). Pag-open ng apps dun sa secret vault may code din.

You can have your old prepaid sim number if you lost it. There's some paperworks but at least you can get it again.

Paano nya na access phone? Madali lang ba iaccess sa Android?
Sa iOS, pahirapan kasi, need pa technical savvy person to unlock iOS.
By that time, you should have time pa to deactivate these stuffs.
